LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A community is coming together to help their neighbors who lost everything in a fire in Dickson City.
Halo Salon in Scranton and Gibbons Ford in Dickson City are collecting donations for the Shelesky family who lost their home to fire.
The place on Carmalt Street burned Wednesday afternoon. A father, grandmother, teenage boy and teenage girl lived in the home.
The businesses are collecting clothes, personal items and non-perishable food, as well as cash donations.
Daryl Jayne, the general manager at Gibbons Ford, said, "So we put it on social media and all of a sudden, this morning and even a little bit last night, we had some activity. Just time to do things right for the neighborhood."
The teenage boy wears size 8 shoes, medium shirts, and pants size 30-30.
The teenage girl wears size 10 shoes, small/medium shirts, and size 5-6 pants.
The folks at Gibbons Ford say they plan to drop off the donations on Sunday at a spaghetti dinner benefit being held for the family.
That dinner will be held from 2-5 p.m. at the Dickson City Fire Station.
