PLAINS TWP -- Police in Luzerne County say a driver managed to get out of a car unhurt just before a train clipped the vehicle.
The car was alongside a set of train tracks on an access road off South Main Street near Wilkes-Barre when the train hit it just before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, the driver, Rex Clemmer of Nicholson, said he got lost and got stuck on the tracks. He got out before the train hit.
No one was hurt.
