TAMAQUA -- People came out to help the victims of a fire in Schuylkill County.
A spaghetti dinner was held at the Tamaqua Elks Lodge on Broad Street to help a family who lost everything in the fire last Sunday in Mary D.
The Denning and Nelson family lived on one side of the double block home that burned.
Organizers say, on top of stopping by for a dinner, a few folks donated gift cards and toys for the kids who were involved in the fire.
"It's very hard watching them lose everything that means anything to them. So I just wanted to try to get something in motion as quick as possible to help them replace anything that is replaceable," said Angela Krapf of Coaldale.
Fire officials said the fire was accidental.
