DUNMORE -- The high school football season is officially over and one team from our area went the distance this year.
The Dunmore Bucks returned home late Saturday afternoon to cheers from their fans after a hard-fought state title game in Hershey.
The team bus pulled into the high school and lots of parents, students, and fans turned out to welcome the players and coaches home.
Even though the Bucks came up short, parents said they're all winners for playing so hard all season long.
"That's what the heart and soul of this community is, it's family," said parent Bob Holmes. "We win as a team, we lose as a team, but we're a family."
