OLD FORGE -- A popular restaurant in Old Forge is closed until further notice after a truck slammed into the building.
Cafe Rinaldi is one of the landmark Italian restaurants along South Main Street in the borough.
Police said a truck driver plowed into two parked cars outside Cafe Rinaldi and then into the building itself.
The truck came through the wall around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
"I looked outside and I see this truck come flying down the street, hits a car, hits another car, and slams right into the building. The guy comes out perfectly fine. It's crazy," said Anthony Komensky of Old Forge.
"I have two tables right where he came right through and hit and the one table actually came through the wall. We did have two customers sitting there. They actually just paid their bill and probably within a minute they walked out," said Russell Rinaldi, co-owner of Cafe Rinaldi.
No one was hurt. Police are investigating the crash.
