MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters started Thanksgiving Day fighting an enormous fire in Northumberland County.
A PhotoLink picture showed huge flames ripping through a house on West Saylor Street in Atlas.
Officials said the massive fire started around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities told Newswatch 16 the place is vacant.
According to a witness, a home next door was also damaged.
Crews have not said what started the fire in Northumberland County.
