Montoursville defeated Loyalsock on Saturday night, 21-19, to win the District 4 Class AA Championship. The Warriors were led by Keith Batkowski, who rushed for all three of the team's touchdowns. Kyle Datres kept the Lancers close, throwing for one touchdown, and rushing for two more. But, Montoursville's defense came through in the end, as Curtis Miller intercepted Datres' pass, to end the game. Montoursville advances into the PIAA state playoffs.
