PECKVILLE -- An outpatient clinic located in a former hospital officially opened Friday in Lackawanna County.
A ribbon cutting was held at the newly renovated Commonwealth Medical Clinic in Peckville.
It's in the old Mid Valley Hospital.
The clinic will handle everything from MRIs to X-rays but not emergencies.
Officials say an older wing of the former hospital will be torn down in the future but at this point, it's unclear how that space will be used.
