SCRANTON -- 1,800 pizzas in just two days: that's how many pies Pizza by Pappas in Scranton expects to sell.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the restaurant on North Washington Avenue will donate half of all pizza sales to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
"People are coming in that someone in their family is affected by pancreatic cancer, or is affected by it. And they're buying pizza and leaving donations, and it's terrific," said Jimmy Connors of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Pizza by Pappas in Scranton expects to raise about $7,000 dollars for the organization.
