PLYMOUTH — An 80-year-old man from Plymouth faces animal cruelty charges after humane society officers found three cockfighting roosters on his property in October.
Police report that they received a tip that Patrick Stone had roosters in individual cages on his property.
Officers say this is an indicator of cockfighting and that cockfighting had taken place there in the past.
Police also found paraphernalia used in cockfighting.
It is a felony to possess cockfighting roosters in Pennsylvania.
Humane officers took the roosters to the SPCA.
