MONTOURSVILLE -- Police charged a man on Wednesday who they believe tried to blow up an ATM and steal money.
Officers say Meade Lewis, 21, of Port Matilda tried to blast open an ATM at the Muncy Bank and Trust along North Loyalsock Avenue in Montoursville last year.
Police said the bomb did not detonate.
Lewis faces a slew of charges including manufacturing weapons of mass destruction, possession of explosive material, and conspiracy to commit theft.
