Price Chopper supermarkets are getting a new name.
The company that operates Price Chopper announced Tuesday that the stores will be called Market 32.
The changeover for stores in six states will take up to five years and cost more than $300 million.
The new name comes from the company's founding in 1932.
Company officials said there will be expanded food options, along with an enhanced product mix and an emphasis on customer service.
