FACTORYVILLE---There were frozen fans and chilly cheerleaders as the Lackawanna Trail Lions took on the Susquehanna Community Sabers Friday night.

"I didn't order it. We had a beautiful fall, we've been spoiled. But Old Man Winter is definitely giving us a shot today," Maureen Frost, of Clinton Township.

"This is the first time we put the long underwear on. This breaks the long underwear out. You have to remember where you put it last year," laughed her husband Jerry Frost.

Folks were bundled up against the whipping wind and colder temperatures with hats, blankets, gloves and coats.

Hot chocolate was snatched up at the concession stand.

"I do not like the cold, it's not fun for anybody but this is football weather. This is playoff season so, football weather is awesome, " said Brendan Van Fleet of Dalton.

"It's kind of nice, it's seasonal, but I take the 80 degree weather, though," said Dave Tisano of Wayne County.
