ARCHBALD --Students honored veterans with a concert and a fundraiser in Lackawanna County.
A choral group from Valley View High School sang for vets in an early Veterans Day celebration on Thursday.
The history club presented the Gino Merli Veterans Center with a check for $1100 that they raised through a t-shirt sale.
The special assembly also included a speech by the father of the late SGT Jan Argonish, a National Guard solider who was killed in 2007 in Afghanistan.
Dozens of veterans came to Thursday's event at Valley View in Lackawanna County.
