WILLIAMSPORT -- Police are trying to figure out if two young men and at least one juvenile are responsible for a crime spree in the Linden area of Lycoming County.

State police said those three young people were arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a burglary Tuesday at a home.

But troopers say the suspects may have broken into more homes, stolen two cars, and even set one of them on fire.

Jason Dulaney, 19, and Evan Burley, 18, have been arrested on burglary charges.

State police say the two young men and a 13 year old broke into a house on Bachman Lane near Nesbitt and stole two guns.

Troopers believe they may have also committed crimes at several homes in the Linden and Williamsport areas.

"Who, why, what, how? I don't know."

Amie Palmer works third shift at Williamsport's middle school. She says her 2000 Chevy Blazer was stolen from the parking lot sometime Monday night. The next afternoon, state police found her vehicle.

"Oh no, that's my car," she said, recalling when she saw it.

Troopers say the Blazer crashed and caught fire on Windswept Drive near Linden. Palmer was there as crews put out the flames.

"It's burned to the point they couldn't even get the VIN number off the vehicle. They know it was my vehicle because of some of the items that were laying outside the vehicle," Palmer said.

When Newswatch 16 came back to where the Blazer caught fire, we found things still scattered all over the place, including an unopened bottle of alcohol.

Palmer believes that whoever stole her blazer went for a joy ride and crashed. There are skid marks leading away from the road where neighbors in the Linden area say homes were also broken into.

"They got to focus on this area because it happens every summer, every winter," said Bud Getgen of Woodward Township.

"I want to know where the parents are, for the age, the youngest for 13."

Dulaney and Burley are both locked up on charges connected to one burglary.

A 13 year old has been charged as a juvenile. Those suspects are involved with other burglaries and stolen vehicles around the Williamsport area.
