So many people got outdoors and enjoyed the warm weather Tuesday because things will be getting cooler after this, according to Chief Meteorologist Tom Clark.

The weather has been just right for motorcycles to hit the open road near Honesdale especially on a 70 degree day like this.

Chris Calvitti of Hawley had his Harley in for service at Baer Sports Center. It won't be long now and Calvitti will have to park the bike for the season.

"It was a bad winter and I've heard this winter's not supposed to be much better. The cold weather's coming so everyone I know is trying to get in the last little bit of time they can," he said.

"We live for days like this. This is the best. I hope it's not over," said Dave Kuhn of New York City.

Kuhn said he'll stay out on two wheels as long as he can, but that's dependent upon Mother Nature.

Sure, the weather in downtown Honesdale was warm enough to cool down with a summer-treat. However, ice cream stands will face a drop in temps and customers when it gets cold outside.

"Perfect day today. Got to take advantage of the weather," said Jake Mowska of Taylor. "[Cold weather] is right around the corner, we all know that."

We found a couple from Lackawanna County taking a stroll through Prompton State Park, perhaps one of the last hikes before they'll need to dress in layers to stay warm.

"I already planned this out, puts you in a good mood too, get out in the nice weather and everything."
