ASHLEY -- Police in Luzerne County are searching for two men who stole from an elderly woman.
Officers said Douglas Johnson, 52, and an unidentified man targeted the woman as she was getting into her vehicle around noon on Saturday on Main Street in Ashley.
According to officials, the male suspect attacked the woman, assaulted her and stole her purse.
Police said the man jumped into a getaway car driven by Johnson and fled the scene.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police in Ashley.
