UNIONTOWN, Ohio -- The woman who was critically injured by a rock thrown from an Interstate 80 overpass in Union County is back home.

According to Fox 8 Cleveland, Sharon Budd arrived at her house near Cleveland to a big crowd of friends, family, and neighbors. She was also greeted by her dog Coco.

Budd spent the past three months at Geisinger near Danville recovering from injuries in that rock-throwing incident back in July.

She said she's ready to get back to normal.

"I just feel like being someplace really familiar and having family across the street will make a difference," Budd said.

"I'm just so ready to be at home, trying to get into whatever routine looks like and having friends and family and mom and dad close by," said Randy Budd, Sharon's husband.

Sharon still has a long road to recovery ahead, but now she gets to do that at home.
