WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP -- A man crawled out of the woods with gun shot wound to his lower back in Schuylkill County.
Authorities said the man was found shot in the back along Route 54 near Shenandoah just before 11p.m. Thursday in Mahanoy Township.
Police said Jeremiah Ney, 18, of the William Penn section of West Mahanoy Township crawled out of the woods and was rushed to the hospital for surgery.
Police said the suspect, Marc Galan, 26, also of William Penn, is in custody and they plan to charge him Friday.
There is no word on what led to the shooting.
