SCRANTON -- Some future doctors from our area will be able to study locally thanks to a generous donation.
The commonwealth medical college in Scranton received a multi-million dollar grant Tuesday from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation.
Officials say that grant will fund scholarships for local students attending medical school here in Lackawanna County.
