DELAWARE TOWNSHIP -- A family in Pike County needs a new place to stay after an early morning fire destroyed their home.
Photolink pictures show there is almost nothing left of the home on Emery Road in Delaware Township.
Officials said the home went up just after 4:30 a.m. Monday near Dingmans Ferry.
Authorities said a family of five lives at the home and they got out safely after smoke alarms woke them up.
According to crews, two pets, including a pet alligator, did not make it out of the flames.
Firefighters do not think the fire in Pike County looks suspicious, but they did not say what caused the flames.
