TAYLOR -- Firefighters are battling a big trash fire in Lackawanna County.
Taylor's fire chief said the piles of old construction materials and rubble have been burning since 9p.m. Monday.
Crews had to bring in heavy equipment to get to the hot spots of the fire along Keyser Avenue.
Firefighters said they have the smoke fires under control, but they could still take hours to douse because more water has to be trucked in.
The Department of Environmental Protection and the Environmental Protection Agency have been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
According to officials, no one has been injured from the fire in Lackawanna County.
