Rocco Forgione certainly has a fine resume when it comes to wide receiver techniques. After graduating from Valley View in 1998 he went out to Bloomsburg University and played in the PSAC and had a fine career there picking up finishing as a 2nd team All-American with the Huskies, then completed some fine days down at the arena for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers AF2 football team under head coach Les Moss. Rocco was in the New York Jets training camp back in 2006 and did play in the CFL for a brief time. Now he works and helps run Rockfit Training in downtown Scranton.

Part I of Rocco's receivers starts with Holy Cross football coach Josh Watters and four of his players.

"I say start with a little bent leg here so you can push-off-two feet application pushing off the ground. You just don't want to push off the front leg so you want to jump. You want to get a little lower here," said Rocco.

"You want to be looking at the ball here and watch the ball-set go-just jump, jump, jump, jump. Ready go. You just want to gain ground as fast as you can," added Rocco.

Next Rocco works on beating press coverage in Part II of Rocco's receivers.

"Basketball position-set go boom, boom, boom. Get up on them-lean up on them. You want to get up on them-get skinny lean up on them and gain ground here. Ready go. Get back up field. Get back up field," again said Rocco.

Part III finding the ball and making the catch.

"Good way to get skinny. Nice and smooth. Good."

Finally securing the football and putting it away-Part IV.

"You want to pretend like a ball's here-maybe like a little racquet ball. You want to be able to catch it because if you do miss it you can always catch it here if you do miss it here you can always catch it here," said Rocco.

"Love to see the wide receiver and the quarterback relationship enhanced and the communication enhanced."

"He's been around the game for a long time and he really knows what he's talking about and every time he's around everybody's learning something new," said Bailey Simrell-Holy Cross sophomore wide receiver.

"He's a great asset to have to make sure our guys are working harder and making sure they get the little techniques that maybe we can't teach them in practice. It's another set of eyes for us with our receivers too," said Josh Watters.
