CANADENSIS -- State police cruisers remained parked outside a house on Seneca Lane in a wooded neighborhood of Canadensis Tuesday afternoon.

Days after police say Eric Frein, 31, ambushed two troopers outside the state police barracks in Blooming Grove, investigators were able to track him to the home.

Neighbors are shocked that someone like this was living near them.

“It`s kind of scary. It`s very scary actually. You don`t know who's living right around you," said David Luzier.

“I don`t feel comfortable with it, but what are you going to do? Either leave town or where are you going to go?” asked Karen Swartz.

HI-Tech Helicopters took our photographer to get aerial pictures of a swamp where state police say they found a partially submerged jeep that they say belongs to Frein's parents.

The swamp is located near the Blooming Grove barracks, which sits along Route 402.

Route 402 was shut down for hours Monday night as numerous state police came out to the scene, both on the ground and in the sky.

Troopers then headed to Monroe County, and were seen gathering at the Barrett Township Municipal Building for a short time before leaving that location.

Troopers were then seen a short time later in vicinity of Frein's home in Canadensis.

“There`s just been a lot of commotion, a lot of cop cars going by,” said Swartz.

People living in Canadensis say this can only end badly.

“I think in the end he`ll die because I don`t think he`ll give up,” said Luzier. “The guy is just crazy, I don`t know what else to say about that.”
