Here’s what we know about the deadly ambush at the state police barracks in Pike County:
- Cpl. Bryon Dickson was shot and killed outside the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Blooming Grove before 11 p.m. Friday.
- Trooper Alex Douglass was critically wounded in the shooting.
- A massive manhunt took place involving state and local police from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. No one has been arrested.
- A $75,000 reward for information has been offered by Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers and other organizations. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the tip line at 866-326-7256.
- A public visitation for Cpl. Dickson will be held Wednesday in the Rotunda at Marywood University. A funeral mass for Cpl. Dickson will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Scranton. Burial with full honors will take place in the Dunmore Cemetery.
