POTTSVILLE — A guilty verdict was issued earlier this week in an attempted murder trial in Schuylkill County.
Joseph Yeich was found guilty on Tuesday.
In December of 2013, police say Yeich poured bleach all over a woman, assaulted her, and then set her house on fire.
It happened on East Pine Street in Mahanoy City.
According to investigators, Yeich told witnesses the devil made him do it.
Yeich was found guilty on criminal attempted first degree murder, causing a catastrophe, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, arson, recklessly endangering another person and related charges.
