Wilkes-Barre Chief To Take Over King’s College Security

WILKES-BARRE -- The police chief in Wilkes-Barre is retiring.

City officials said Chief of Police Gerald Dessoye is retiring from the Wilkes-Barre police department this month.

He has been appointed executive director of safety and security at King's College in Wilkes-Barre

Dessoye has served on the Wilkes-Barre police force since 1981 and has been chief of police for more than 10 years.
