The nurses at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital who went on strike in July announced Wednesday that they have reached a tentative contract agreement with Community Health Systems.
A ratification meeting for union members will be held Friday and terms of the settlement will be made public after that.
The new agreement replaces one that had expired over 17 months ago.
