FREELAND -- An American Legion Post in Luzerne County is stuck cleaning up after a fire Tuesday night.
Firefighters said the flames started in a duct at Post 473 on Center Street in Freeland around 9:00 p.m.
Authorities tell Newswatch 16 a firefighter was in the post when the fire started and helped to clear the place.
Crews had to cut a hole in the roof to douse the flames. They said the first and second floors have smoke and water damage.
