Travelers got a little boost on their drives on Labor Day from several groups.

In Lackawanna County, players and members of the parents' football club of the Lakeland High School football team handed out food and snacks at a rest stop along Interstate 81 north, just west of Carbondale.

Money raised goes to the team.

We also found a similar setup just a bit north on I-81 in Susquehanna County.

Cub Scout Pack 98 from Harford handed out hot dogs, donuts, and snacks to travelers in Lenox Township.

The money raised there goes to the scout pack.
