Names Released After Deadly Morning Crash

WEST WYOMING -- Two people were killed in an early morning crash in Luzerne County.

State police said a pickup truck ran off the 500 block of Shoemaker Avenue in West Wyoming around 12:30 a.m. Saturday and slammed into a utility pole.

Authorities said Francis Rutledge, 39, of West Pittston and John D. Soska, 36, of Wyoming both died at the scene.

State police have not said what led to the crash.
