SCRANTON -- Courthouse Square in Scranton is undergoing its annual transformation before the Labor Day weekend.
The tents are going up and the ovens and refrigerators are being put in place for La Festa Italiana.
The annual festival over Labor Day weekend attracts tens of thousands of people and features all kinds of Italian food by area vendors.
The festival opens Saturday on Courthouse Square in Scranton and runs through Monday.
