A couple from Bradford County was sentenced today for a tax evasion scheme.
Randy Talada will spend 21 months in prison and his wife Sandy was sentenced to six months behind bars.
He must pay about $171,000 to Pennsylvania Workers Compensation Fund and about $54,000 to the IRS.
Sandy Talada must pay $54,000 to the IRS as well.
The tax evasion was the result of the couple's failure to report income from their theft of small games of chance winnings at an American Legion in Athens.
Randy Talada also failed to report his wages.
