HARTLEY TOWNSHIP -- The coroner in Union County released the name of the 17-year-old killed in a Friday morning car wreck.

Officials said Miles Forman died on Route 45 near Hartleton when he crashed just after midnight.

Troopers said the teen driver from Lewisburg was going around a left curve and lost control of the car.  It rolled over a few times landing on the driver side.

Forman was a student at Lewisburg Area High School.  Grief counselors for students will be made available for the rest of the day.

While I didn’t know him personally, from what I’ve heard and seen concerning Miles, he was a glowing presence to everyone who came in contact with him, always a smile on his face. Rest in peace, dude.

Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel
Yeah, we’re goin’ to the Roadhouse
    We’re gonna have a real
    Good time

He was wearing his seat belt. It says so on the PAHomepage article. Tony shows off his multiple levels of ignorance…

I’ll tell ya, Dud. I’m angry that a life was cut short. I don’t care if he was coming home from work, there is a reason why neophyte drivers have a curfew. Of course, I am insensitive. A stupid, stupid death. Everybody wants the 4 rock throwers executed, but, no one stops these things from happening. Rules don’t apply to me, is stupid. And, Dud, next year, when you get your license – arrive, alive.

WOW. Maybe he had a good reason for being out. Maybe he was coming home from work, maybe there was an emergency. Find out the facts before placing blame. Prayers to the family.

Don’t 17 year olds have a Cinderella license? Why was he out after midnight? Is this not the reason we have rules?

Fratboy. He was coming home from work ? If you have a Cinderella license you can be out past 11 as long as it is a school event or job related. Maybe you should read the Pennsylvania’s drivers manual !
