NESCOPECK — A tractor-trailer went off the road down a 100 foot embankment on Thursday in Luzerne County.
The big rig drove off of Interstate 80 east near Nescopeck around 6:30 a.m.
Troopers said the truck driver lost control, went off of I-80, and rolled down a 100 foot embankment and landed on its side.
All lanes on I-80 remained open during the clean up. A medical helicopter was called in for the driver.
Authorities have not released his current condition.
