DUI Charges for Woman After Crash in Monroe County

BRODHEADSVILLE -- Charges have been filed against a woman for a crash that injured two state troopers five months ago in Monroe County.

Erin Dooner had a hearing Monday for the wreck on Route 115 in Brodheadsville back in March.

Investigators said Dooner was a passenger in the vehicle that hit the troopers' car.

Court papers show she grabbed the wheel after getting into an argument with the driver. The car crossed the center line and hit the state police vehicle head on.

Dooner has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, aggravated assault by vehicle, driving under the influence, and related charges.
