Worker Tied up During Armed Robbery

RUSH TOWNSHIP -- An employee was tied up while thieves ransacked a store in Schuylkill County.

Police said the armed robbery happened just before 11 a.m. Monday at the Radio Shack on Plaza Drive near Tamaqua.

According to officers, two men, one armed with a gun, taped the worker and left him in a back room while they stole merchandise.

Radio Shack was back open for business Monday afternoon.

    To me the bigger question is when are businesses going protect their employees from this kinda stuff…..I mean really …….is a minimum wage job worth your life…….I hope not.
