TEXAS TOWNSHIP– Some folks were enjoying authentic German cuisine in one part of Wayne County.
The Alpine near Honesdale hosted its 37th annual Oktoberfest celebration.
There was plenty of music, food, and German beer for folks to enjoy.
Owners of The Alpine say the celebration started in a small tent back in the 1970s, and have grown every year.
It cost 8 dollars per person to join in the early celebration of German heritage.
Oktoberfest wraps up tomorrow.
