SCRANTON — We have an update on a story we first told you about last month as part of something called “The Way to Wellville.”
The project put the city of Scranton in the running for $5 million in grants to change the face of health and fitness in our area.
Unfortunately, Scranton did not make the top five for the competition.
According to a news release, the five finalists are Clatsop County, Oregon; Greater Muskegon, Michigan; Lake County, California; Niagara Falls, New York; and Spartanburg, South Carolina.
