One day before a major announcement from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders front office the team took to the field on a wet Tuesday night at PNC Field to take on the Louisville Bats as we wrap up the 2014 AAA season here in Moosic.
Manny Banuelos named the starting pitcher for the RailRiders on Tuesday night the same day he was called up from AA Trenton.
After the Bats took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning the RailRiders rallied for two runs of their own. The first run coming home on a Zoilo Almonte single to right field to tie the game 1-1. Then Kyle Roller followed up with a rbi double to right scoring Rob Refsnyder on the play to make it 2-1.
