Police: Speed, Wet Road Played Role in Deadly Crash

MAIN TOWNSHIP -- One man is dead after a crash in Columbia County Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe the man was driving too fast on a wet road when his SUV went off Route 339 near Bloomsburg just before 3 p.m. and hit a utility pole.

Authorities have not released the man's name.

      Don’t you know? SUV drivers can go like hell in snow and rain because they have four wheel drive. People like me who drive environmentally responsible cars – we have to go the speed limit and get run over. And don’t try telling those with four wheel drive it doesn’t help them stop it’s a waste of breath.
