FISHING CREEK TOWNSHIP -- A man was killed in a crash in Columbia County Saturday night.

The coroner identified the man as Jeremy Naugle, 25, of Benton.

State police said Naugle was driving a pickup truck on Bendertown Road near Benton around 10 p.m. Saturday when his truck went off the road and hit a utility pole. The crash brought down the pole, a transformer, and power lines.

Naugle was flown to the hospital where he died.

The road was closed while crews cleaned up the scene.

The coroner said speed and alcohol were both factors in the deadly crash in Columbia County.
