Members of the media had a chance on Friday morning to meet the 2014 Berwick Bulldog football team.

Quarterback Dallas Arner and Mike Force are taking over for CJ Curry who held the position the last three years.  All-Conference wide receiver Andrew Force returns along with OL/DL Kyle Pierce and Dalton Perla. Kicker Olivia Seely is also a returning All-Conference player.

George Curry's offensive line might be the best in the Wyoming Valley Conference with Mason Vandermark and Dalton Perla at the tackles, Zach Beckley and Kyle Pierce at the guards and Dan Gingher at center. Kevin Woodeshick is the tight end.

Berwick opens the 2014 season at Crestwood on Friday night August 29th, 2014.

Tom, of course we care about education! My goodness what a downer. Berwick football brings a town together just like the state championship baseball team did. Your education and world experience must not have taught you yet that team sports build social skills and leadership. These skills are just as important as intelligence and education. Which by the way some kids would never have the means to have without sports. Football is something special here. Brings all races and people from all walks of life together on Friday nights in the brisk PA nights. Holds true that I lot of people hate winners. Listen to coach talk about how alot of players on the honor roll. Sheesh. Go Dawgs! Who dat!!!
