HAZLETON — Federal investigators have charged a man from Hazleton with taking about $1 million from clients of his insurance business.
On Monday, the United States Attorney’s Office charged Joseph Hyduk, 54, of Hazleton with fraud and income tax evasion.
Hyduk, owner of BNA Financial Services, allegedly diverted about $1 million from clients’ accounts to himself from 2010 to 2012.
Investigators said that, if convicted, Hyduk faces a maximum of 25 years’ incarceration, $500,000 in fines and a term of supervised release.
