Standoff Ends with Arrest in Pike County

LACKAWAXEN TOWNSHIP-- A man held police at bay for more than 7 hours after a standoff in Pike County.

State Police said Eric Rogerson walked around his apartment in Lackawaxen Township with a shotgun, threatening to shoot and kill everyone in the building.

Authorities said that everyone was successfully evacuated from the building after they arrived.

Route 590 was shut down in both directions during the standoff.

Rogerson stayed in his apartment for several hours until he surrendered around 11 this morning.

He was arrested and faces charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, possessing instruments of a crime, recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct.

Rogerson was unable to post $150,000 bail and is still being held in Pike County Jail.
