PLAINS TOWNSHIP -- Some folks spent the day at a carnival with a financial theme in Luzerne County.
The Cross Valley Federal Credit Union in Plains Township held their annual Youth Day Carnival on Saturday.
There were pony rides, carnival games, face painting, and plenty of food.
Organizers said the free event is a good way for parents to begin teaching their children about handling their own money responsibly.
