ASHLEY — An escaped inmate was captured Friday morning in Luzerne County.
Police reported Kevin Kuklinski was found in Ashley.
Ashley police said an officer on patrol spotted the escaped inmate, still wearing half of his prison outfit, walking along the street when he was arrested this morning.
Officials said that at the time of the escape, Kuklinski had less than a year to serve in the minimal offenders unit. He was in there because he violated his parole rules.
The inmate escaped from the county minimal offenders building on Water Street in Wilkes-Barre Thursday morning.
Police brought in dogs to search a wooded area of Nesbitt Park while boat crews searched the Susquehanna River.
Kuklinski is now being held in the Luzerne County jail.
