LEHIGHTON -- A man from Carbon County will serve time in jail for setting fires at his mother's home and at his sister's home on the same day.
In January of 2013, Russell Young of Lehighton set fire to the back porch of his sister's home in Lehighton while she was inside. He set a fire at his mother's home a short distance away earlier that morning.
Russell Young admitted to the crimes. He will serve 28 to 56 months for the arsons in Carbon County.
