SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP -- The Wurst Festival was back in the Poconos this weekend.

The Polish and German themed fest at the Shawnee Mountain ski area near East Stroudsburg had music, traditional dancers, "bier stein olympics" for the adults and of course, plenty of wursts, wieners, and kielbasa for everyone.

"It's a great experience for everyone, a lot of fun. We encourage everyone to come out," laughed two festival participants.

The festival wrapped up around 6 p.m. Sunday at the ski resort in Monroe county.
