LOGANTON -- A violent home invasion robbery is under investigation in Clinton County.

State police say two men, one armed with a gun, entered a home on East Main Street in Loganton just before 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Troopers say one of the men hit a woman in the head several times, then restrainer her with duct tape. The woman's 6-year-old son was forced into another room.

Troopers say the men stole a large amount of money.

The woman was treated and released from the hospital.
